Customer reviews are important for any business’s credibility, so why ignore your own?
Building a list of client reviews can be easy and extremely rewarding. Did you know that 88% of consumers trust online reviews just as much as personal recommendations? That’s just one of the many reasons why you should have reviews for the world to see!
Getting a client to review you should be simple, especially if they are a loyal client and enjoy working with you. If you don’t have any reviews right now, think of a few clients you’ve worked with and send them a quick note asking for a review so that you can start building a list. You can ask for a simple paragraph of why they enjoyed working with you or create a quick survey on Google Forms and send it to them. Most people are more than happy to send good words your way! If you can, ask for a photo or two from their trip to include as well – that will look amazing in front of travelers shopping for a travel agent.
Also consider setting up a system so that you can continuously get fresh, new reviews in after each trip your clients take. A week or so after your client returns from their trip, send them an email thanking them for their business and give them an option to review their experience working with you.
Don’t just stop at your own website, be sure to set up additional avenues where people can leave reviews as well. Places like Yelp, Google, and Facebook can be hot spots for people to quickly access business reviews and information.
Most importantly, always follow up and thank for any reviews. Whenever someone reviews your services be sure to comment back on it as well.
