On Sunday, December 16th, CCRA Members spent the day touring the Carnival Liberty learning about everything that’s new on the ship, including their incredible new shopping experience!

The tour, lead by Carnival’s Kirsten Sanchez, started off by touring the ship’s Captain’s Suites. Travel agents got to see the cream-of-the-crop of on-board accommodations and step out on to the stateroom’s private balcony at the front of the ship. While looking around the luxury room, Kirsten educated agents all about Carnivals’ new keyless boarding process which makes the boarding process endlessly easier for cruisers.

The tour group then moved on to taking a look at the Grand Suites, Ocean Suites, & Ocean View rooms to get a feel for each room type and see what would be the best fit for their clients.

Once agents got to see all the different stateroom options, they moved on to the public areas of the ship. They visited the world-class spa which offers massages, facials, and other treatments, and the full-service salon which offers hair services, manicures and pedicures, and more. The group walked through the stunning fitness center and got to see the steam rooms and saunas available with amazing ocean views.

Everyone then moved on to tour Camp Ocean, the complimentary kids program which provides entertainment and fun for the on-average 1600 kids on board! They then saw the Serenity (21+) area, the main pool and waterslide before seeing Diamond’s Steakhouse where travelers get served on Versace plates and receive a complimentary bottle of wine on the first night of their trip.

While visiting all of the multipurpose lounge spaces that are used for karaoke nights, comedy shows, and more, travel agents learned that the lounges can be used complimentary for groups with standard AV included! Agents then expressed how that is a great amenity for groups they were planning on booking soon like a ballroom dancing and Zumba groups.

At the tail end of the tour, everyone got to take a peek at the piano bar, alchemy bar, arcade, casino, and the Venetian Palace Main Lounge, where all the main shows take place.

The day ended with a 4-course lunch complete with foie de gras, lobster penne, bass, prime rib, cheesecake, and dancing waiters!
